Hi all, I received the decision today from POPLA and it was successful as you can see in the post above. I can't thank everyone enough for the help provided with the case!4

Complain to the DVLA that PE have accessed your data without reasonable cause, and the DVLA have released it to them, as there is no evidence (backed by the POPLA decision - attach a copy) that PE have authority to operate on the land, and ergo had no right to seek your data. Ask that the DVLA investigate this as a matter of urgency, as you considering the issue of legal proceedings for a breach of the DPA and GDPR. Stir the pot!ccrt@dvla.gov.uk (or) KADOEservice.support@dvla.gov.ukPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well done, haha, they couldn't be bothered to attach a landowner agreement - a certain loss at POPLA for Parking Eye. Makes you wonder why they bothered to contest it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yay! Great result! Well done mazdamad.
The parking companies bluff & bluster - no contract yet the so&sos proceeded. Meanwhile, many posters are dogged by an entirely unfounded sense of 'guilt' that makes them wary of fighting back. It's all so unequal ... or would be without this forum.3 -

First they came for the socialists ...You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2
