    Hello everyone here,
i have now received a Directions Questionnaire from the CCBC, i tried to follow the link KeithP posted but it does not mention the DQ. can anyone help me as to how i should go about filing this...
Yes, sorry about that. My earlier post was written at the time the forum software changed and the link I gave wasn't the best. I have now edited that post.

But as CM says, and indeed my earlier post always said, you should be reading the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
  • I have downloaded the DQ form online, filled it in and printed and signed 2 copies....i know i have to send one to court, i can do this via email  CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk, i also have to file one to the claimant, in my case Civil Enforcement Litd, do i have to send them a physical copy to the address? I have read through and cannot find an email address for them?

Normally you are expected to post it to the claimant and get free certificate of posting from the post office counter and keep it with your paper copy

I believe the claim form has details for service of documents

If you do find an email , use that as well , so post , or post plus email to the claimant

Yes , email it to the CCBC

Read again my earlier post, where I wrote:
    7. The completed DQ should be returned by email to the CCBC to the same address and in the same way as your Defence was filed earlier.
    8. Send a copy of your completed DQ to the Claimant - to their address on your Claim Form.

If you cannot find a CEL email address, what other options do you have?

  • OK great, will get a cert of posting. many thanks

Hello, I have an update, I have got a court date, 25 August. It will be via meet me. I did ask to have it at my local court but due to virus it's online.
Will the judge have access to the documents I have sent... I.e. Defence? Will I have to provide a witness statement? Are cases online harder to fight? The more I read the more confused I am. Can someone please advise?

Read the telephone hearings thread by coupon mad , it's all in there and your absence means you missed it

If your witness statement plus exhibits plus summary costs assessment have already been submitted they should have them , as should the claimant , but if you haven't done them yet your court order should have told you to agree a set with the claimant and email them in

So does your court order tell you what to do and by when ? Or have you already done so, because they require your phone number as well

Read that telephone hearings thread by coupon mad , asap , and your court order again too

The CCBC sends the defence to the court and claimant , but that isn't the only matter , you have your WS plus Exhibits plus summary costs assessment to file AS WELL !!!

Your hearing letter should give you precise instructions on who does what and when. You must read it carefully. If in doubt show it to us.
You wil have seen, from reading dozens of telephone hearing threads, that there is variance on the Orders being sent by court. Some wnat the bundle emailed to the court, some want the claimant to send in a consolidated bundle, etc.
  • Can anyone link me to telephone hearings thread... I can only find the one with CCJ set aside... I haven't been given a CCJ... I filed defence and questionnaire.
