house purchase and electric role

I moved into rented accomadation 2 months and have not updated the electric role yet. yesterday I had an offer accepted on a property-will this have an impact on my credit score and affect my mortgage chances?

It'll impact 'scoring' but likely isn't going to kill it, especially if you've got reasonable credit otherwise.
Worth pointing out you've only been there a few months too, so even if you had registered it still could take longer than that to update.
Depending on how much other data is on your report, the lender might want proof of identity and address, but that's more of an inconvenience than having any real impact.
