Help me please!

I'm trying to get to grips with the new forum but I'm struggling!
How do I see if I've already entered a comp? And is there a way to sort posts - as an end-dater I'd like to see ones ending tomorrow. I've tried searching "09/02" but that brings up just a few posts. There's normally about 20 I enter on a Saturday. I know we can't sort by end date, so is there anything else I can try?

There is an 'Entered' and a 'Skipped' button to click.

All entered competitions or skipped competitions have entered or skipped in the middle on the screen when you are scrolling down the forum.

For your End Date search, try clicking this link and then changing the date from 08/02 to 09/02

Thank you thingamaBob that is really helpful. 
Once I have searched a date there is no indication until I open the post to see if I have entered or skipped the post or not. Do you have any tips to help with that.?

@bishopsgirl The staff at MSE Towers are aware how important red ticks and green crosses are to us, it's  on their VERY long list of tweaks, we'll also be able to sort by date. Eventually. The old Competition Board took years to evolve into the one we knew and loved, this one has only been live for 72 hours. Please give them a chance, they're all busy ALL weekend.

@misslayed Sorry I was not complaining at all - just a query. 
I think I may be in the minority and like the new forum and will do so even more when the ticks and crosses are back as well as sort by date. It looks so much more modern.
Perhaps I am lucky in the fact I am a very basic comper and never knew how to do some of the clever things others could so am not missing them at all whatever they where.
I am very grateful to everyone who has contributed to this forum in any way. I have won some wonderful things for myself, my family and friends over the years.
So I will just plod on as usual and  patiently await the tweaks . Hoping to win something of course. Good luck everyone.
