18 yr old daughter - best way to invest £1000

Hi
My daughter is 18. We’ve already invested 4k into a LISA but she also has £1000 which would be good to invest separately for the long term.
Thanks in advance

She will want to add to this but I don’t know when and how regularly she’ll do this. I guess it would be good if she had the flexibility of not having to make payments every month.
Any advice on whether a stocks and shares isa or a fund/mutual fund would be best? Which one (s) would you recommend? We are thinking medium or medium-high risk.
The idea is that she will have her LISA and this investment and she can save into both as and when she can.

If you are not intending to fund the LISA on an ongoing basis, it might be an idea for her just to save in a fixed rate bond for a year and then contribute the maturity proceeds to the LISA.
Otherwise, if she wants to dip a toe into stocks and shares, perhaps a Vanguard ISA - £1000 to start and then contributions as and when she can?

Chuck it in Marcus, let it build, then come April put the rest in the LISA again.1
