I went to page 139 and there are posts that were posted back
in November that have no replies but they are labelled NEW.
Put the new comps in bold so we can see the ones that have been posted since our last visit and delete the stupid NEW button.
Thanks.

No point in posting here , won't get seen .
Dedicated "snagging" thread on forum feedback where it will get seen by the team doing the update.

It displays the new tag on any post that you haven't viewed on this new forum ... so eventually it will stop becoming an issue as you view posts / they drop off the forum. It does also apply "New" to a post if a new reply is received though, which possibly isn't the best for the compers forum.
If you had previously Entered / Skipped on the old forum, then it shouldn't show the "New" tag because it should know that you've "seen" it.4 -
If you click on your profile button in the top right hand corner it brings up a drop down list. If you click Mark All Viewed, it will clear ALL "New" comments across the Forum. These will however start to reappear when any thread has a New comment posted. This "New" does not just mean it is a new thread but also that there has been a new post on that thread which you have not looked at..10

I love the 'new' button - one of my favourite things about the new forum1
