Which can be used to argue, why then did they wait nearly 3 years and then try to claim interest as a reward for their own inaction, and why was the 2017 LBC £100 yet the DBCL one, added false costs (£82?  £70?).

Include those two observations, in your defence, near the end.

Remove your #3 entirely and replace it with some details about the facts of the case and car park, as your draft tells the Judge nothing about the circumstances.  As you already appealed and are the driver, then in this defence, admit to being the driver and state what happened in #3, instead of your wording.

Then, IMHO you should replace #5 onwards with a similar section as I posted here across two posts tonight, feel free to completely plagiarise it and tweak it to suit:

Don't forget to attach the Warwick Order to your email as well as the defence, as the defence refers to it near the end.
