Yodel crazy routing

Bought an item from Ebuyer on black friday for £150 next day delivery. Got an email from Yodel next day to say it was out for delivery. Never turned up and tracking status told me i had been out when they tried to deliver and they had left a card and will deliver the next day. There was no card and nobody had approached the property as i was watching my cctv cams all day waiting. When i contacted Yodels chat site in the phillipines and telling them he hadnt been here they told me he could not find my address, a normal terraced house on a normal street in Hull. The next day i watched the tracking go through 56 deliveries ahead of me and went outside when i was the next delivery to maybe save the driver some time. He never arrived and tracking status magically changed to delivered and was signed for by someone called Ramu. To me that sounds like a name from the jungle book. Contacted the Phillipines again and was told the driver delivered to the wrong address but he was going to pick it up next day from where he had delivered it and bring it to me, please wait i will definitely have my item the next day. Nope!
So what should i do? I contacted Ebuyer and after lots of backwards and forwards they told me Yodel had supplied them with gps to show the driver had been near my home on that day and the sample of my signature supplied looked a lot like that of the mysterious Ramu. So result was, "tough, we think you received the item and are a lying theif" (not exactly in those words). So having paid with Paypal i thought to myself they claim to be as safe as houses and cover any loss. So for the first time in the 12 years of having my account with them i claimed, then a day or 2 later escalated. Ebuyer supplied them with the evidence that Yodel had sent them (evidence they said i they would be happy to supply to me but despite asking 3 times they actually wouldnt send me) and Paypal backed up Yodel and Ebuyer in the theft of my money, which caused me to close my Paypal account. Had to buy a replacement from a company in Germany for £160 but at least they used a reputable courier.
Now every time i buy something i try to check who the "other courier" is with the seller before placing the order but i forgot on an item i bought from Ebay and was supplied with a Yodel tracking number. So the tracking has me worried now which goes like this:
Time and date Place Message
Sat, 8 Feb 2020 12:39 AM WEDNESBURY HUB Departed Depot
Sat, 8 Feb 2020 12:39 AM WEDNESBURY HUB Arrived At Depot
Fri, 7 Feb 2020 4:31 PM GLASGOW SERVICE CENTRE Departed Depot
Fri, 7 Feb 2020 8:38 AM GLASGOW SERVICE CENTRE Parcel in transit, possible delay
Fri, 7 Feb 2020 8:33 AM GLASGOW SERVICE CENTRE Arrived At Depot
Thu, 6 Feb 2020 6:41 PM HATFIELD TERMINAL In transit to delivery depot
Thu, 6 Feb 2020 6:41 PM HATFIELD TERMINAL Arrived At Depot
Thu, 6 Feb 2020 12:00 AM NORTHAMPTON SERVICE CENTRE Parcel data received awaiting collection
Now as i say i am in Hull. Northampton to Hull is 180 miles according to google. Hatfield to Glasgow is 389 miles and Glasgow to Hull is 267 miles. But they have now sent it to Wednesbury which apparently is 60 miles from Northampton and 146 miles from Hull. I wish i was getting frequent flier miles for my parcel, but i am not overconfident they will find me. I have an idea they dont use google maps and whatever gps app they do use is faulty
