Travel insurance doesn't cover staying at family
Jan2020
Sorry if this has been covered previously. I thought my travel insurance covered me when I go to visit my family in the UK for a week or two. But it only covers me if I pay for accommodation which I wouldn't do staying with my family. I also fly to my family as its too far to drive. Does anyone know if there is a travel insurance that covers stays with family. Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to cover?
Cancellation etc2 -
If I am ill and need to get home or indeed if it was worse. I know treatment is free but would cost a lot to get home if needs be.
Maybe I am being over cautious but better safe than sorry.
