I'm not sure what you're saying, the existing Entered / Skipped from the old site has been moved across and are viewable on the main board

Drag the address/name of comp (from the tread) into a new tab so that you don't need to go back.

@marialionza Clickable email links require the poster to make them clickable, this has always been the case, even on the old site.
How to do it has been mentioned in this post earlier.

They can only be seen on the main board once they have been clicked within the post. We're having to go into every post and click skip before it appears on the main board. On the old forum, you could click a green tick or a red cross from the main board without having to go into the post.

I have clicked entered before entering but then I realized I can't find the survey, now I cannot untagged  the Enter button. It is stuck, anyone has worked it out how or is it another sore we have to suffer and not tell  because they don't think it so bad ?

@spendaholic, yeah, we're aware of that but that's not what they're talking about?
The Main board buttons to skip are being worked on.

I've said this a few times today but MSE IS NOT a comping site, so the priority is to get the new forum up and running, which will improve security for everyone ... the custom updates for the comping Forum will need to take a back seat to the functionality of the main forum overall.  This isn't directed at you spendaholic, but more to all the people moaning about things not being right ... this site does not revolve around the competition forum, that's not the purpose of the forum, it's just an bit added on, so you just need to be patient and allow their developers to do their thing.

I don't think that's really a bug though, You clicked "Entered" before you had actually entered.  You can change it to Skipped by clicking the skipped button.

unable to get into forums on ipad - just got blank page

is there a way to use the old forum at all? this is just one big horrible change of horribleness. ive tried to comp all afternoon and have maybe done a quarter of what i would have usually done, not being able to do a set date or mark them off without having to click and open pages i dont need too.

No, there is no way to go back, that forum no longer exists.
You can do a set date by using the search function (see the first post in this thread).

There's nothing to stop you from just ignoring the competitions you don't like the look of and just entering the ones where the title appeals to you, then you can go back and red X the others when the button is working, you can use this link to view the newest posts : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time?sort=new
