You just need to add ?sort=new at the end of the url. Fingers crossed!
Thank you (the thank you (comp-liment) button has disappeared for me)

It's in the queue for tweaking, but it's a LONG queue.

Thanks for everyones help in finding end dates etc, I realise how much hard work has gone into changes and I hate to complain but I HATE it, I find the new colours/text very difficult (do have health/eye problems) and about an hour trying to find comps & what I had entered/skipped etc resulted in an awful headache, has been a nightmare.3

Thank you Spot5Flowers. That is a help. I'm still struggling though. I am only a day or so in advance - anyone know how I bring up comps ending tomorrow? I used to just type at the end of the list Thread search ascending order and click on the date. What do I do now?0

When you are in competition time, click the purple search button near the top. Put the date you want comps for, so say E: 09/02 and you will get all those comps. Make sure you haven't selected replies (and one other which I can't remember) so you only get each main comp thread.

@Lockie21 You can use a search, ie :
Comps ending today :
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search?adv=1&search=&title=E%3A+09%2F02&author=&cat=72&tags=&discussion_d=1&within=6+months&date=today
Comps ending tomorrow :
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search?adv=1&search=&title=E%3A+10%2F02&author=&cat=72&tags=&discussion_d=1&within=6+months&date=today
When you go into that search it shows you the search parameters so you can just change the E: 09/02 / E: 10/02 to whatever date it is you want to search for0 -
For me the MSE forums are a nightmare. Why the posts are listed oldest first seems totally illogical to me. Also why isn't there a button to reorder them? Also, also why aren't the posts listed in latest first order with a simple drop-down arrow to enable the viewing of replies to the original?
