Good to see the forum back online.

However I cannot see how to skip comps without visiting each individual page. That's going to take forever.

Also it doesn't seem to be possible go straight to the latest post in a long thread. The only link provided is to the profile page of the last poster.

This is supposed to be an improvement?

  • Tbh I hate it already, feel like crying. But then I'm not good with change. I'll get used to it eventually; I felt the same the last time they changed it many years back.
I do know that MSE have said they'll try to make sure everybody is happy & just to let them know if there's any issues :) So maybe just give them your concerns so they can work on it.

I hate the new forum. Its too.... big?
Light colours are hard for me to read at the best of times. Before they changed it my account was set to the old MSE forums.

Can we bring that back as an option? :D

Might work if you put #latest at the end of the link?
  • The skip option missing is going to be a real pain.
Also, there's no "Thanks" button any more.
How do you report problems to MSE?

This seems to be a pattern in all modern site re-designs - huge amounts of paddings, large margins, much wasted space, meaning lots more scrolling, it's not a good look at all, but almost every major website's re-design seems to follow the same pattern, I really dislike it.
  • There's quite a few things missing that were valuable to a lot of us it seems.
I'm not sure where the improvement is on here, I find it harder to read & a lot of features seem to have disappeared.
And yes, it's all so big!
Can someone please point me to where I can put forward any issues? Thanks :)

You can get extensions for your browser to make it dark, ie for Firefox :

    For Chrome
