Employee Expenses Correction?

Hi,
I''m on PAYE as an employee (I don't file a return regularly) and recently logged into my HMRC account and noticed my employee expenses amount was incorrect for last year. I expect it also needs to be corrected for previous years as I had neglected to change this and it has been set at an amount estimated a while ago. Based on other's experience is it worth correcting these, and if so how many years to go back, or just include the right amount moving forward?
Thanks

How much is the figure out by? And, do you owe HMRC or do they owe you if you use the correct figure?
You should definitely use the correct figure going forward.0 -
You should be updating it with actual figures every year end. The tax code figure is provisional.0
