Removing and reinstalling insulation

Hi

We're in the process of buying somewhere (fingers crossed) and an issue has come up on the survey. Seems that in the extension water might have got in to the cavity wall insulation because of a bit of leaking from the roof. Looking at the planning permission it looks like the outer wall is brick, and inner wall is blockwork. We had already factored in fixing the roof.

The surveyor has recommended stripping out the insulation in the two walls (the third wall is all windows) and reinstalling. Has anyone done this? I'm trying to get an idea of the cost/hassle of doing it.

Thanks
