Car hire debit claim

Hi guys,

A year (or two) ago. Enterprise van hire took money out of my account for damages to a vehicle.

It was for more than the quote they provided. There were loads of discrepancies with the quote and the money that they took out my account (without me being notified or my permission)

Is it worth fighting this now to try and get this back (I am trying to claw back some of this credit card debt)

Thanks,

Tom

It's a little late to say the least, but you could send them your complaint.

I doubt you'll get anywhere now though. The time to dispute it was a year (or two) ago.
  • I was told by the bank that it didn't matter how long ago the incident/claim was.

I should have added that into my post.

    Cheers

Car hire mediation site. Which is binding.
All I can think is CC is thinking S75. But that does not usually come in to play on car hire as it's all covered off in car hire T/C
