Worldwide travel insurance through Lloyds bank account

I recently had an accident on holiday in Guadeloupe and suffered a badly broken shoulder. I was taken to the local hospital by ambulance and admitted. The next day I called Lloyds to advise them of my injury, and they said they would arrange assistance, translators etc, and check the hospital was up to standard. They then rang back and said I was covered under my E111 card and that hospital was approved.
The hospital was not clean, there was no privacy, even drinking water was not supplied. After three days I was discharged with my arm in a bandage sling and given a prescription for paracetamol. I was then told to finish my holiday (3 days remaining) and go straight to A&E on my return home.
I have been given £50 per night for the two full 24hrs I was in hospital, and my partner's overnight stay in a local hotel has been refunded.
9 weeks later I am still being treated for a shattered shoulder, which should have been properly immobilised after the accident.
I have complained to Lloyds that they are mis-selling their Worldwide Travel Insurance which is part of my platinum account. They forwarded my complaint to Axa insurance, who offered me an insulting £75 compensation. I am now taking the matter to the ombudman because I feel that the insurance assistance was completely inadequate.
Has anyone else had trouble with Lloyds/Axa over this insurance?
