Wanting out of fixed tendency

I have just recently moved into a joint tendency with my partner and I am instantly regretting it. My cpn is worried that he is coercive and controlling. He has been physically abusive in the past. I feel like I am trapped in this relationship as every time i have tried to leave him he never accepts it and makes me feel bad and I just save the hassle and stay which I am working on. Anyway, I’m just wondering where I stand with this fixed tendency which is for 12 months, is there anyway I can get out of this? Thanks
