PPI Tax reclaim

Hi
I'm about to receive a PPI settlement with interest which has been taxed at 20%.
I will be attempting to claim back some of the tax after reading your blog.
I am employed and pay tax under the PAYE system, do I need to wait until I receive my
P60 in April before I can attempt this or can it be attempted on receipt of the settlement?
Thanks.

Yes. You will need your P60 details along with details of any other taxable income you have such as normal bank or building society interest or company benefits.0
