am not able to use the above as got lines on screen not sure it was working fine this morning have a pic but not know how to upload on msg

    Screen's broken.
    Normally caused by having left something on the keyboard and then closing the lid, dropping the unit or somebody has stepped on it while it was closed.
    They don't break themselves.

    is it worth getting it fixed or buy new one as over 3 years old

    They look like they're standard 14" laptop screens, if you're confident enough taking it apart you can do it yourself, otherwise it'll be a trip to the local computer repair shop which would be roughly around £85 to supply and fit.  Obviously depends on the model and whats in there but its your call.  Grab a quote if nothing else.
