I put 'medium' risk due to not wanting to go gung ho but by the sounds of it I am open to higher calculated risks..
Have you actually calculated the risks though? For example, an S&P tracker could lose 60%+ over the course of a year or two when measured in sterling without recovering for several years... and the chances of it falling in value are generally higher when it's just gone up by 90% over the last five years; you wouldn't expect it to keep going up at 10% a year forever.

Though the S&P does contain lots of large international companies, it is only a subset of the tens of thousands of companies listed on stockmarkets globally. So the idea of moving half your cash into one regional stock market tracker is quite far from 'medium' risk.
  • If the 'single company share' is Berkshire Hathaway then I'd buy more.

Returns haven't been that far off to be honest. I've been in and out of this share since 2007...

    Come on name it :)

To be honest the game is over now. This is why i'm asking the questions...:)

Even if I did name it there is nothing much left in it in my opinion...

BH is underperforming the wider S & P 500, of which it is a constituent.
