in august last year my cc company told me a new cc was being sent.
it arrived with new number. the replacement card had same expiry date as the old one. i queried this and what the problem was because no activity on my statements.
The cc told me they are regularly sent a list of card numbers by mastercard that have been compromised by data loss by companies and the exchange of cards was no reflection on me0
