Using TSB visa online - OTP on landline?

Hello,
I wanted to top-up my ISA and decided to use my TSB (VISA) debit card.

After selecting the amount I was presented a window managed by VISA summarising the details and telling me I had to insert an OTP (one time password) to get the operation approved.
I selected my landline and waited and waited, but nothing happened and the operation at the end timed out.
(I was expected an automated call with the code).

Can anyone using he TSB Visa tell me if the automated message to your home landline should happen and this was a simple technical hiccup (or is the option not working anymore)?

I've not experienced this before, but do you have BT call guardian set up?


It may have been blocked as a potential cold-caller?

I've had the same problem before with TSB, they seem unable to send the code to landlines although other banks manage it.
