QDR Solicitors - to fight back or not?!

Original letter from ZZPS states a breach of Railway Bylaw Section 14 on 27/09/2019.

After months of harassing letters from ZZPS and now QDR Solicitors I really need some advice as I am getting worn down.

Have had a letter dated 20th Jan stating that if the full amount of £182 (!!!!) isn't paid within a 14 day period (i.e. this Friday 7th Feb) then further action will be commenced. QDR have previously said that they will pass this to Yuill & Kyle Solicitors even though they are based in Glasgow and I live in England... struck me as odd that they made other references to Scottish law.

1) What should I reply to this letter?

3) What is the liklihood this actually reaches court?

2) If it's a case of stringing this out for another two months, is it true that these penalties expire after 6 months?

I really don't want a CCJ against me due to impact on credit rating. And also this is bl**dy annoying!

THANK YOU!!!!

It's worth noting that QDR are owned by the disgraced Wright Hassall solicitor who turned their version of POPLA into a mickey mouse outfit. ZZPS are all part of the scam.

It is also worth noting that QDR were badly spanked recently in court

Abuse of process meaning they add false amounts to their claim

Maybe that's why QDR want to pass the buck to Yuill & Kyle Solicitors

    Zero, or close to zero.
    2) If it's a case of stringing this out for another two months, is it true that these penalties expire after 6 months?
    Yes.

Lucky you then, as that cannot possibly happen!

Have you read about parking tickets on land covered by Railway Bye Laws in the stickies?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
