Will I be put on UC if I change Jobs

Good morning.
Can anyone please help me.
I am going to change my job soon and I wondered if I would be put on UC.
Presently on WTC and claiming no other benefits, moving house and changing jobs but really worried about being put on UC.

Still very confused as it says if I'm entitled to stay on WTC but I don't understand what that criteria would be.

Changing jobs does not mean that you would be transferred to UC.

You could change to UC if you wanted to (i.e if UC would make you better off) but this does depend on what you will earn in your new job and whether you have any savings from selling your house. If you have over £16K in savings then you cannot claim UC.

What we cannot work out for you without further information is whether you would still be eligible for working tax credit when you changed jobs.

Why don't you use a calculator like https://www.turn2us.co.uk?

Or go to Citizens Advice with all the information (new salary, savings from sale of house) and ask them to do a benefits check.

By the sounds of it you can change jobs and then advise Tax Credits of your new salary and see if you are still eligible for tax credits.
