Will an overdue electricity bill notice affect my credit rating? (Eon driving me nuts!)

Moved out of house with prepayment meters for gas and elec in November. Both meters in credit when we left and never went into debit in the year we lived there. After moving out, Eon decided we owe them £93 for elec and £98 for gas. After a couple of phone calls they agreed we shouldn't have been charged. They cleared the elec bill but the time it took meant an overdue reminder was sent out. They told me they were clearing the gas bill when I spoke to them over a week ago, but just phoned to check and it's still outstanding so we'll probably get overdue reminders for that too.
Does anyone know if overdue reminders affect our credit ratings?
If not, if Eon keep messing around in clearing these bills, at what point in the series of notices we'll receive will it start to have an impact?
I've never had an overdue utility bill in my life before this.

Eon do report to the CRAs so there is that possibility. Have you checked your credit files ?0

Hello pinkteapot and don't worry. We don't share payment information with a credit reference agency for customers with prepayment meters.
The only exception would be if the meter had been fitted for debt. From this post and the one below, this certainly doesn't appear to be the case with your account.

Hope this explains pinkteapot.

Thanks, Malc. That’s reassuring! Need to ring again in a few days to double check the balance has actually been cleared this time.0
