Afternoon folks. Oh dear GERS not a good start! Have a wonderful evening tonight, if anyone deserves to be spoiled at the minute it's you.
Just back from my morning coffee and lunch meet up. Enjoyed a beautifully cooked lasagne with salad and garlic bread. My friend chose the Cheesy Broccoli Bake which we have overlooked of late. It looked as yummy as ever. There were ominous signs, however, that something is afoot - the fridge that usually contains all the toasties, paninis etc looked very sparsely filled and was padded out with bottles of water. We think its end may soon be nigh.
It's been lovely and sunny since the early morning wind dropped but now looks to be clouding in. You don't know where you are with this changeable weather we are getting.
I am now going to scour the web for a reasonably priced combined scratching post/climbing tower/hiding hole for the Sparkley Cat. She's a right climber and it might keep her out of mischief! I love her to bits but by heck she is hard work for a small cat!
Enjoy the rest of your day folks xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

SR yes my boiler is 15 years old and apparently they don't seem to last as long as they used to.But my lovely James the plumber is going to replace it with a far better one which will be more economical plus a power flush and filter for the system but lobbing out a touch over £2.3K just after Christmas was a bit of a blow.
On the brighter side I have finally got my coat from the tailors and just being able to put a coat on, and not have to squeeze my right arm into the sleeve is wonderful.
Tonight is quiz night so no cooking for me tonight I will get fed at the pub.
Been dog sitting today for DD as my son-in-law had an early start as he had a course to go on today and tomorrow so I have been pottering around DDs tidying up etc, Plus of course its warmer than my house at the moment
I saw the Dr this morning and have been given yet another tablet to take for my ticker, slowly getting a collection of meds, but as long as it keeps going I don't mind . my blood test he was happy with although he wants a second one in two weeks time. its the practice nurse tomorrow morning ,but she's a sweetie and I will be in and out pretty quick hopefully .Still awaiting physio, no doubt it will come at some point :0

Hi everyone
My youngest DD was taken into hospital yesterday...she had severe tonsillitis and her throat closed up. She was gasping for breath and was really frightened. So I brought baby home with me. DD texted later to say she'd been put on a drip and given a steroid injection and was able to swallow again. A friend picked her up in the early hours, she got home and had a good sleep and now feels so much better. Little one was as good as gold and my unexpected day off work with her was lovely once I'd seen DD and knew she was fine. Bless her, she doesn't have much luck....they haven't even been home from hospital a week yet.0
