Does your dentist not sell them?

I tend to stock the ones that aren't 'mass market'. They might be a bit dearer than if they were available at bulk sellers - but at least you'd have them.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

I haven't done the maths, but I wonder if these guys work out any cheaper? They seem to do all different ones, and free postage on large orders

Because it's easier just to tell patients to - then I don't have the hassle of needing the shelf space to put them on!

Clearly they don't teach entrepreneurial spirit at dental school!

I identify my own USP and base my business model around it.

I have no interest in competing in a market place where 10p can make a difference!

I stock hard-to-get OH products as that provides a service - and providing a service is my USP! I sell them for just a little over what I buy them for, but probably give away nearly as many as I sell!
