PCN with Contravention code 01 - Appealing due to confusing signs

I'm considering fighting a parking ticket after my informal appeal was rejected.

I'm going to try and go down the route of confusing signs as there is a large sign stating parking restrictions between 11am-12pm, however on the side I parked there was a sign (which I failed to noticed) which stated restricted between hours of 1pm and 2pm.

These hours of 1pm and 2pm only were for one side of the road and not for the other

Can anyone advise how likely/unlikely for my appeal to be successful and whether it's worth fighting?

Thanks

Seems like this is a council PCN, therefore best to pop over to Pepipoo forum, register (not using a Hotmail address) and ask your question there.

Looks to me like the CPZ entrance signs are at fault as they both say 10-11am!

As we major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Register there (but please note that a hotmail address won't work - try using a throwaway gmail account instead if you do have trouble registering) and post a new thread; here's your link:

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
