I know i was very stupid in letting someone control in and outs of my account and i won't be able to bank with lloyds ever again as i have broken their terms of service. I just need this fraud mark removed as not being able to bank with anyone for the next seven years will ruin my life until im 25.

I'm afraid the mark will stay unless by some miracle you can get it removed.

At least the OP explained the situation.

Some friend that would do that.
    Life in the slow lane
  • I would cut off this "friend" because obviously they are not loyal or reliable and from now on i would be careful as too who i let transfer money to my account because obviously some people can't be trusted.
  • All signs point to that the friend used the account to launder money through the account.
If you have sent a SAR off to CIFAS and find a Category 6 fraud marker, then no high street bank will touch you.

I've heard that Monzo accepts people with CIFAS markers for their basic account with no overdraft. Obviously they have mixed reviews but could be better than the prepaid card options which usually have a monthly charge/cash withdrawal charge.

Forget about applying for any Credit Card/Loan/Overdraft as with a CIFAS marker they will be automatically declined.
