Hi,
I have a Currys Essentials C60SHDX10 Cooker Hood but the lamp has stopped working but the fan still works. ebay dot co dot uk slash c slash 1504301028 (Link for pics)
I changed the bulbs to no avail.
What else can I try to troubleshoot?
Could the lamp switch be faulty?
Thanks, :money:

If you have changed both bulbs, then it does look like the switch.
Did both fail at the same time?

How can I test if the switch is faulty?

Did both bulbs fail at the same time?
Did you notice if they had blown?
If you have to ask the question about testing, then I can only assume it would not be safe for you.
Curry's do not really carry spares for the essential range and parts are difficult to source.
You can get an electrician in. But would it be worth it for a £30 hood? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -
Yeah I think I could test safely.
Do I just need to see whether the power is getting to the switch or not?
