Belfast for city break

We are group of four women who are looking at a UK city break, Belfast has been suggested, among the other usual places.
Just wondering if anyone would recommend Belfast as a place to go and enjoy a weekend break.

Have you been? What could we do? It will not just be a drinking weekend! Is it safe?

Belfast is as safe as any other city in the UK.
Not sure what you are into but there is bustling night life in Belfast with lots of bars and restaurants. During the day there are loads of shops in the city centre or, off the top of my head
- Ulster museum
- Titanic museum
- Folk Park and transport museum (just outside Belfast)
- Game of Thrones exhibition centre (across the road form the titanic museum)
- Game of Thrones bus tour (plus other options)
- Belfast Castle, City Hall etc.
Outside Belfast
- Day trip to Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge (not sure if it is open this time of year)
- Bushmills distillery
- Take me out for a drink
