    Make an official complaint and then if they don't agree with your complaint (The chances are they won't) you can take it to the Ombudsman who tend to look at whats fair and be on the customers side.

    If the Ombudsman side with you then they will instruct the Insurer to put you in the financial position you would have been in had they not made the mistake (Your Insurer is responsible for their repairer). They might possibly also pay a small amount of compensation for distress.
