Will it throw up any flags if I suddenly transfer £18,000 from my Santander 123 account to my BoS Vantage account then to my Marcus saving account?

Possibly.....why the additional step?0

If worried just do it in smaller chunks.0

That's why, I can only transfer money from the BoS account.0 -
I don't imagine it would.0

I've transferred £20K from Santander to Barclays this afternoon - no problem (other than the 15 minute delay in getting the authorisation code from Santander... but that's a different issue)!#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

Only one way to find out.... Just do it.
Even if you worked for either of the banks involved. You could never say with 100% certainty that it will or won't.Life in the slow lane0 -
I recommend you either split it into two lots of less than £10k, say £9k each and transfer them to BOS on two consecutive days using internet banking. Or call Santander and ask them to transfer the £18k in one lot. Then do two transactions from BOS, or again, call them.0

You have a full audit trail, so don't see why it should be a problem. If you're still worried about it - speak to a human in Santander, then in BOS (asking for their name in each case).(Good luck with BOS... I've found them a total nightmare!#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660
