We all seem to spend so much time noticing the stuff we haven't done I think a bit of self congratulation might be in order. What do you guys think??
Thats a fab idea, Ive just sat and worked mine out for the time ive been in the challenge and I have to say when you work it out over a longer time period its amazing how much youve saved. Esp as I only worked mine out by going on my allowed budget and my actual spend. Dread to think how much I was spending before:eek:
ps the actual spends figure is slightly low at the mo cos it doesn't take into account decembers spends yet:p
I can tell you where my saved pennies went : on my car when it was in the garage:mad:June Grocery Challenge 270.80/250July Grocery Challenge 0/3000 -

So have adjusted my budget and will see how i do, good luck everyone. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I'm allocating £50 as my month goes from 29th Nov - 31st Dec so includes 3X£15 delivery's from my organic fruit and veg box (£45) leaving me with £5 towards staples and other needed items. I have no need to buy hair products of any sort as BF took me to lush weekend before last and bought enough for a year, I'd say, as a treat
. He also got me lip balm (it will last me a good year and it really works!), body powder, skin cleanser and a solid deodorant from lush and all of it cost him less than £40 :T so I should be set with those for a good while :rotfl: . This amount is for me and 2 mice and includes food, tioletries, cleaning products, alcohol, mice food etc.
First box of this month arrived yesterday with:
Potatoes (k) - 1.825kg/1825g
Carrots - 1.125kg/1125g
Cauliflower - 1.075kg/1075g
Brussel sprouts - 425g
Red onions (k) - 300g
Swede (k) - 1.125kg/1125g
Curly kale (k) - 325g
Shallots - 175g
Cucumber - 350g
Lettuce - 375g
Bananas - 900g
Oranges - 575g
Apples (k) - 675g

Spent of budget = £15.00
Left of budget = £35.00I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0
