(Apologies for the double posting. Quirk of the new forum: if you open a 'quote' in a new page, you can't post outside the quote. And there's no longer a delete option ...)
Well, one of the regular complaints was that some (particularly new) posters would delete their posts if they didn't like the replies! That was very annoying for those that put the effort in trying to help and it often made the thread meaningless for anybody else reading it.
    Oh yes, I get that.

(And have also discovered that if you start editing a quote you're replying to, it's possible to get yourself back within the quote, with no way out short of closing the page and starting again ...)

    Just to follow on....
Looks as though you can only edit once? Or maybe only for a short period of time after posting? That certainly applies on another forum I use and seems a sensible compromise.

I can't find the edit button anywhere and it's driving me nuts.  Sorry, OP, I don't really have anything useful to add except to wish you luck and tell you I know what a toxic workplace feels like (boy, do I!?)

Have you thought of keeping a log of every time you ask for more work/training, what response you receive and from whom?  Might help, probably won't as it does sound as if the wrong person has decided they don't want to work with you.

This woman who has said she is "not paid to be your manager"; does this actually mean she is not your manager?  Where is it written she has to be paid extra?  I wonder if her job description includes "training less experienced staff" with no mention of any increase in pay for doing so as it is part of her job; I bet it does.  Just because she may not have had to do this before does not mean she should be paid more for doing so.  Does she equate training with managing?  They are not always the same thing; seldom so, in my experience.

I second the suggestion to begin looking for a new job now and, again, wish you good luck.
