EDF Smart Meter Breakdown

Hi Everyone,
For years I noted the monthly gas and elec usage using a nice app called meters. 3 Months ago I switched to EDF and they happen to offer smart meter upgrades so thought 'why not'.
Not been impressed so far. The display unit does not hold power unless plugged in, seems battery is duff so need to get around to having that replaced. But what I find really annoying is that when I logged into my account online I expected to be able to see each months usage but all I can see is an overview of balance.
I used the month to month usage as a good way of gauging energy usage compared to previous years and it helped spot trends of wasted energy and I hoped improvements from insulation etc.
Am I missing where I can find the monthly breakdown? I hope I do not have to sift through the smart meter display settings.
I may well go back to recording my own usage with the app which seems a bit annoying given they could easily show me online.

The In Home Display is NOT designed to run on batteries alone, they are just there as a backup.
If working properly, the Energy Graphs page of your online account will show hourly use of both electricity and gas on the DAY tab, daily use is on the next tab (MONTH) and this can be displayed in kWh or actual cost.
Make sure your meter is set to send half-hourly readings.0 -
I had my smart meter installed by EDF energy on mon 27 Jan ,The display unitworked well for 4 days then the gas display disappeared , no gas display for 3 days now!, I contacted EDF ENERGY by chat and got a load of waffle about how they were working on making the system better ,
I will pursue EDF for a resolution ,has anybody got info on best way to proceed ??
They are desperate for you to have a smart meter ,but then if not fit for purpose !!0 -

The meter itself is fine - what you are talking about is the IHD - In House Display - which sits in the kitchen.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
