Confusion.

Hi good morning.

I have a few questions.

I have a 'very poor' credit score with Equifax.
I have a 'Good' credit score with Experian.
With Credit Karma i have 541/710.

The thing that is holding me back is my electoral roll, which i will be added to tomorrow (having received a letter confirming that from the council)

I have my ex partner financially linked to me on my Equifax...but not on my Experian and CreditKarma.

I have put in a request 3 weeks ago with Equifax to get it removed and they have insisted it will be done on the 11th of February...spoke to them today and now they've said they are still investigating it and they've put me on a priority.

I have no defaults, debts, ccj's etc.

Would it be suitable for me to go ahead with my application tomorrow?

Any advice gratefully received.

What is it your applying for ?

Your scores mean nothing since lenders, banks don't see them.

As long as your information is correct across all 3 reports then yes apply.

    There's also Transunion.

It's for my first time buyer mortgage.

The issue that is concerning me is the person that is listed on my Equifax report had multiple defaults and was an old flat mate from my Uni days.

    Hi,

    What I forgot to say

Well you have spoken to Equifax and they are investigating it, all depends what agency they use, if they don't use Equifax then you could be ok but I wouldn't risk it.

What is it that the 2 are being linked by ?

If you know what it is then close it.

I thought Credit Karma acquired Noddle and Transunion acquired Call Credit.

Yes Noddle used Call Credits data but I assumed the 2 were split.

Yes, but Credit Karma is now a portal for the Transunion credit report although they (Transunion) still offer a direct statutory report.
