Afternoon all. I lost a long post yesterday meh. Today we have been shopping as we were out of quite a bit. January seemed a long month! I stripped the bed before we went. Back home for lunch and used up some eggs that were best before yesterday. Go me! Roast pork with all the trimmings tonight with apple crumble.

We went to Yate yesterday afternoon and DH took Dgs to his first model railway exnibition. They had a lovely time. DD and I had a look around the shopping cetre and had a coffee. We all had lunch together afterwards which was nice.

RR sorry you are still having problems with DD's ex.

Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible. Hugs and spoons all round.

Afternoon everyone
I'm having a peaceful hour or so as I have little granddaughter napping upstairs. DD texted late last night to say she felt all achy and not at all well. No better this morning so I was off down the hill at half past 7 to collect little one. We've been down to my mam and dads for coffee and then had a lovely play. She is trying so hard to crawl but is just managing to shuffle backwards so far and gets quite vexed.
DD rang 111 as she feels dreadful and was given an appointment to go over to our very small hospital to get checked by a doctor. Hopefully it's just a bug. They did ask at 111 if she'd been to China so good to know they're on the ball.

Afternoon all! Up early and we went to the Home Renovation show, saw some very interesting and probably costly things but I think we or perhaps I, have narrowed down more the building materials now, so we won't be [ probably] going the bloc build rout, but SIPPS and metal cladding if we can get away with it. This is on top of new windows and doors and porch so this is all going to get very pricey. We went to two very iformative talks and did try to see the SIPP guy several times but he was always busy. Am back now and knackered so sitting on sofa and watching yet more house build programmes on the cards while OH is out trucking.
RR, I did think he was not going to take it lying down, please be extra vigilant because it sounds like he just doesn't care about the consequences as long as he can discofort your daughter. Good idea re the dash cam...Gers, well done on continued declutter, as you're doing it while she is there to supervise [?!] at least you're geting some potted history as you go along...nanny, is that speckles of paint I see in your hair still? Hi Everyone

Popping in again, been reading along. Now in training as I’ve managed to get a place to run in the London Marathon through work, so now need to up the running and complete the training plan. Will be choosing a charity to raise money but want it to be a charity that does good for everyday people not just where they are about raising awareness about an issue.

Not much o/s going on as just finished a set of shifts, now on days off so will try and catch up. Need to make an appointment with the dr as I have severe pain in my shoulder which I was told was a RSI, spoke to occ health at work over 10 days ago and they referred me for physio and a desk assessment but as yet heard nothing. They did advise to go back to dr if it got worse. Dr has already sent a referral for physio but heard nothing from that either.
It is my right shoulder and I am right handed. It feels like bone on bone. Hopefully they may be able to do something.

Redruby - hope you are all ok. I hope the police managed to arrest your dd ex.
Snoozer - hope your pain eases.
