Santander 123 loss of interest

We moved our Santander 123 to the lite version and put the £20k in a Marcus savings account. The only downside is that because the Santander 123 Lite pays no interest, just cashback I have to keep a closer eye on the Santander balance as it is our main account. Before it was moved I quite liked having a significant balance in there as I did not have to keep shifting money into and out of savings accountsI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Getting in a bit of a tizzy as to timing frame to close one account, move DD and stop standing orders.
We have a joint 123 account and 1 single 123 account
The joint funds all but 2 DD (those 2 needed for single account)
the joint one also has 1 standing order of £500 which goes to Nationwide then gets sent back to single account to maintain it monthly, as this had to come from another account not Santander. This then gets bounced back to Nationwide to fund a monthly saver( 2x250)
In a nutshell, we want to close the single account, transfer the 2 DD back to joint a/c.
Stop the £500 Standing order bouncing back and forth, especially since the Nationwide monthly savings will be coming to an end in April.
I nearly transferred the 2 DD today but realised they were needed to maintain the single account.
Getting a headache trying to work timings out.0
