Benefits and new dual nationality

We may actually end up with a (payable) e-Visa system rather than true free movement. It might also be a small point, but nationality and passport are not one and the same. Citizenship has a lot of other things attached to it which matter to some people a great deal.
Tiina, sorry I missed seeing your username's extra i - so I'm guessing you could also apply for Finnish citizenship? The system there is incredibly simple and straightforward in my experience. Something to keep in mind is that Finland removes it at 25 years old if you've no longer got ties there, but many other countries do not, so you might even find that you already have all three citzenships (from birth) - and are only missing the passports. I didn't realise I was an automatic British citizen until adulthood.0
