Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel Problems

  • All - I have just got my car back from the local Mazda garage; they have fixed my problem. It was the build up of carbon on the exhaust gas recycling inlet valve. A strip down and thorough clean and it is now running fine. Good old Mazda has stood the whole cost of the work today to clean the valve. I asked if the same problem could develop again following the next 36,000 miles and they said quite possibly. I will probably have changed the car by then.
