Hi
I have a good credit score, home owner etc but when in the past I’ve applied for a 0% balance transfer ive only been given £2000 or so which is no good to me.
How can I apply for one which is guaranteed to give me the full £5000 balance transfer.
I’ve done a soft search but it doesn’t give me the option to say that I want to transfer £5000.
Thanks

Basically you can't. You won't know until you apply. £2000 is pretty low so maybe there is something in your credit history (or lack of) that lenders don't like. Could be your income.
But you can safely ignore your 'goid credit score'0 -
Could it be the amount of debt/income that you already have if you need a £5K balanceLife in the slow lane0

When I got my Halifax CC, I was told the interest rate and credit limit from the soft search. I believe other Lloyds Group banks do the same thing. You will need to use the eligibility calculators on their own websites though, not third party sites.0
