Ive had my card about 8 months now, i only use it to buy online


However i keep getting transactions blocked and they ring me up a few mins after to see if i still have the card, now i understand they have to be careful but it is happening all the time, yesterday i got a call a i tried to buy something in the early hours and today i get a text message to contact them urgently, just got off the phone and its about the same transaction :mad:

Anybody else have the same problems, i have never had this problem with other credit cards, maybe the odd call every few months but nothing like this.

Not heard of this. I'd ring them and ask them why this keeps happening, and if you can do anything to improve matters.

it has happened a few times with me, generally for purchases over the internet/paypal or when ive been abroad.

the transaction hasn't went through, i phone them, 2mins later the right dept phones me back and it all gets sorted.

last time i was in dublin one phone call solved it and all my other transaction theres were wen't smoothly, same for paypal.

a bit annoying, but nice to know they are looking out for us (or for themself!)

It happened me once as well when I did an online transaction overseas in Italy which is apparently a hotspot for credit card crime this year. One phone call from them and it was all sorted out (tho it turns out their euro rates are not good!). I was glad too but I can see it would be a pain if it was happening with your regular transactions. I'd give them a call too ... the CS reps are usually very helpful.

Thanks folks, If it happens again i will give them a ring, the last transaction they rang about was for Halfords :rolleyes:

After that if i get anymore i will switch cards.
