Santander online banking upgrade problem

Just in case anyone else is experiencing problems logging onto Santander's new version of online banking;
Santander have 'upgraded' their login page for online banking. It now returns an error 400 message when attempting to submit the logon details. Completely unable to access it using Firefox browser on Windows 10.
Fortunately Google Chrome seems to be connecting to the older style login page and still works. Let's hope they don't turn that off before fixing the problem.

A HTTP 400 error isn't a website issue. It's a browser issue.
The 400 Bad Request error is an status code that means that the request you sent to the website server, often something simple like a request to load a web page, was somehow incorrect or corrupted and the server couldn't understand it.1 -
I have just logged in with the new method, using Google Chrome, with no issues. Most of the time I use the app, as it's a lot faster and regular login doesn't involve any typing or remembering of credentials.
EDIT: New login also working fine for me in Firefox 72.0.2 on Windows 10.0 -
I am getting this problem coming out of their revised Payments and Transfers pages. Instead of returning to the main account page, I'm getting a 400 error "Request header or cookie too large: nginx". This error persists until I close the entire browser (Firefox ver. 48 in Windows 10), not just the tab, before I am able to log back in. Never had this problem before with Firefox, it's been my go-to browser. Santander are blaming the browser, saying that cookie space has been exceeded and I need to clear it out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. However, just restarting the browser resolves the immediate problem, with no need to manually clear cookies. So far, only found this with Santander online banking.

No probs logging in but why do l now get this Trusteer Rapport page every time I log in.
In used to get this page maybe every few months but now its all the time.
Yet another layer to get through before reaching my account.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -

Why on earth can't Santander put a little tick box so that you can decline Rapport for good ??
