What does this phrase mean in English?

It means that born again has two fewer problems in his life.

Kind of an ironic username, really.

Does paying by Bitcoins make you anonymous and why do people use it?

Is your question really something like "I want to buy something from a website, but I want to remain anonymous and/or I don't want anyone to be able to trace the transaction?"

If so, there are probably other ways of paying, apart from Bitcoin, with varying levels of risk and anonymity . I guess it depends who you want to hide your identity/transaction from. For example, is it:
    • The seller
    • Your family
    • Your bank
    • Law enforcement authorities

(Obviously, posters on this forum wouldn't give advice on doing anything illegal.)

    Edit to add....

I see that your other post is about looking for a VPN that doesn't keep a log of your internet activity, so that your ISP, 'the authorities', etc cannot see what you've been doing. So I'm guessing that anonymity and/or untraceability are your key concerns.

Thing is, if you didn't already have them, you wouldn't have a need to acquire them to buy those things. You'd just use the cards and money you already have.

  • It's not uncommon for scammers to insist on bitcoins for purchases. If they decide to run off with your money then good luck asking your bank to take action on your behalf - they will deem their responsibility to end when you bought the currency at whatever exchange you used. Plus for good measure you're likely to be placed on an internal high-risk watchlist. Banks HATE cryptocurrency. It's not illegal, but a bit like having lots of gambling transactions, there are few speedier shortcuts to being served a 60-day Notice to Close.

    Best Wishes

Lets see. You are buying a tangible item from a retailer. So they need your name address etc to send the goods to you...

    What do you think? :rotfl:

free electric along with some bargin graphic card finds and a couple of big CPU servers ment i was able to mine, make quite abit of BTC then still sell the hardware of for a profit ;). as for buying a pc.. no i wouldn't of used cash, id of just stuck to my old intel i5 i had, i wanted to upgrade to win10 as i was on win 7 so decided ill use btc to buy a new amd ryzen system, if i didn't have the btc i wouldn't of used my own money, id of kept the old I5 slogging away.. plus i waited till XXX btc was worth XXX amount before buying, unlike cash were £500 wa sworth just £500 , yet £500 in btc could of gone up to be worth £1500
