RE: B&Q spare kitchen doors

Hi, I have a fairly decent kitchen and one of the doors are damaged. The range has been discontinued by B&Q, I think its an IT Kitchen Walnut Shaker Door. Anyway, does anyone know of any stockists of B&Q old stock or any websites to look at, places to contact. I have tried ebay, gumtree and shpock but no success as of yet.

Also, my experience with eBay shows that it pays to
    (a) check regularly till one turns up
( b) try a vaguer search too eg search for 'dark wood kitchen base unit door' as well as 'B&Q IT walnut base unit door 500mm'.

Failing finding the exact door maybe a company like this could help:

set up an alert on gumtree and ebay for anyone who lists them in your local area.
Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.
  • We recently replaced all the kitchen cabinet doors, as the old ones were nasty and cheap looking, and the coating was chipping off. In order to fit them onto the existing cabinets, we had to go back to B&Q, every other supplier seemed to have different dimensions and or placement of the hinge. B&Q are also in the process of changing their standard size, so we had to get the only range that still covered all the door sizes and drawer fronts we needed (brookfield mussel shaker).

Kitchendoorworkshop would have produced doors to fit our cupboards, and had more choice of finish, but it more expensive and a longer lead-in time. However, they do send out samples of the finishes, so you may be lucky enough to find a finish that matches your existing cabinets.
