Hello
I have 2 Payday loans on my credit report and I wondered they will be gone.

Am I right to say these will drop off in May this year??
Also I am using the new Credit Karma app (old noddle) and it says
Mortgage: Inactive. We found a mortgage for you but it looks like it has been closed.
WHAT THIS MEANS
A mortgage appears on your report and has either been paid off or the account has been closed.
I have never had a mortgage?!
Thanks in advance

Maybe ask Karma.0 -
The accounts drop off 6 years from closure (or default, if applicable).
Raise a query re the mortgage.0 -
Maybe ask Karma.
Hmm thanks. I think it may be a fault in their new app because it didnt say that on the old app, and when I go through to my credit report offered by TransUnion it obviously doesn't have a credit account with a mortgage provider. I can only raise a dispute with TransUnion but in their eyes I guess there isn't anything to dispute? :eek:0 -

Thanks, do you mean 6 years? Does this mean these will be gone in March and May this year?
Thanks for your help0 -
Yes - 6 years - corrected now.0

I'd get copies on your reports directly from the 3 CRAs (ie. from TransUnion rather than through Credit Karma) to make sure the underlying data is displayed correctly. But otherwise as above the loans should fall off after 6 years (Mar and May this year). I'd also query Credit Karma and TransUnion about the mortgage.0

Thanks for this. I'll be glad to get rid of them. I do check my reports with all 3 TransUnion, Experian and Equifax. The loans only appear on the Transunion report.0
