As it is - it's a spacious 3 bedroom house. And all 3 bedrooms are a good size.Yes it's ugly - but if I was after a 3 bed house I'd appreciate the space. My only quibble on layout would be that Bedroom 1 is so big - why not have an en suite?
The market here is full of 1300-1400 sq ft houses (or smaller) with 4 small bedrooms squeezed in. And the typical cramped UK 3 bed semi is often little more than 1000 sq ft with the 3rd bedroom being tiny.
So it's actually refreshing to see one at 1400 sq ft where they haven't tried to cram in as many little rooms as possible.
That's a common problem with British houses. Technically they are fit for N people living there, or 10-15% under, but bad design means that in practice they are much worse.0 -
