When I was a boy in my teens in the 70s I actually choose and had similar to that curtain pattern for my bedroom wallpaper. Must have been trendy "op art inspired" and flashy at the time.Elisheba said:

My dad who did the decorating, said "You'll go crazy looking at that!"
But he still put it up, though it was not quality paper because the pattern edges didn't exactly line up and match between rolls
so at close view there were slight misalignments. Not his fault.
When hanging a complex pattern you use two rolls in parallel to avoid unnecessary wastage.
