Maybe an example of "less is more". I'd have shown pic 3 with the firepit and just a few more. Kitchen is lovely, living room fine. But it goes on and on showing tiny bedrooms and dangerous looking staircases...Dandie89 said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/143230667
Spot the cat.....or is it another version of that in pic 14!
Also spot the quick route into the lower garden.0 -
Nice big bathrooms, but no where to hang the toilet rolls.... From the patio in to the garden does look fun thoughDandie89 said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/143230667

The enchanting woodland though! (Hopefully not just the cladding and conifers out front.)Never take a stranger's advice. Never let a friend fool you twice.0

The enchanting woodland is in one of Peterborough townships built in the 1970s. They were the future. They decided not to have windows on the front elevation of the houses. They had communal areas at the front and no parking spaces. Some had district heating. They made sure they had schools and drs and shops. They were designed to get people out of London poor housing and provide workers for local industries like Perkins Engines.4

I remember Bretton being built. Because the "streets" all adjoined one another, the only way you could tell which house belonged to which street was the fact that all the street signs were in different colours and the house numbers were in corresponding colours. Judging by the heat that was coming out of the open windows of some of the houses I think the district heating system must have been charged at a flat rate rather than by individual usage.Green_hopeful said:The enchanting woodland is in one of Peterborough townships built in the 1970s.
